Christmas Auction open!
Unable to run our fundraising events, we've been dabbling in the online world with a couple of fun (and tasty) virtual events, and we're delighted to be able to do another online auction!
The industry has again been very generous and has supplied some wonderful auction prizes for us, which we are truly grateful for. Thanks especially to our Edinburgh Lunch, Christmas Party and Industry Dinner friends. There is something for everyone and with Christmas just around the corner, there are some fantastic experiences on offer.
Our fundraising all goes towards the scholarship programme and as the industry works its way through the current challenges, we are working into the future to support the development of its greatest resource - the people who work within it.
Please have a look at the auction items, knowing your bids will go a long way to support the most important industry in Scotland!
From salmon to wine, golf to horseracing, afternoon tea to overnights, gin school to coaching, there is a fantastic collection of things for people to look forward to!
How to take part
All you need to do is visit our online auction website page, register your details so the system knows who you are, and get bidding! You can see what the latest bid is, and each item shows you the minimum you currently need to bid to be in top place. If you are outbid by someone else, you will receive an email to tell you, so you can go back on and bid again! At the close of the auction, the person who has bid the most is the winner, and will be sent an email with a payment link to pay for the prize. As soon as you've paid, HIT Scotland will send you the prize. Nice and easy!
