Angela Vickers is Chief Executive of one of the UK’s leading independent 4-star hotel groups. Edinburgh based Apex Hotels own and operate ten contemporary-styled, city centre hotels located in London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Bath. 

Angela Vickers’ first involvement in HIT began in 2006 when she became a member of the Edinburgh HIT Lunch Committee. She has since provided great insight into the organisation and has contributed much to the success of HIT fundraising activities.

A qualified Chartered Accountant, Angela is also a valued member of the HIT Finance subcommittee.

Angela is committed to promoting careers within the hospitality industry and assisting those who work in it achieve their full potential. Recognising the importance of continued professional development, Angela completed a Masters degree in Hospitality Leadership in 2014.

Angela became Chair of HIT Scotland in May 2018.
