The Scottish Hospitality Apprentices had a great learning experience in London, visiting some of the city’s big attractions thanks to our friends at Levy Restaurants (part of Compass Group), who organised for them to visit.

They spent time at exhibitions and conference centre ExCel at London Docklands, and HMS Belfast, the most significant surviving Second World War Royal Navy warship which is now a museum, and were given a tour and overview of how the operations work and the food offerings available.

The group, who are all based in hotels around Scotland, stayed at the Apex City of London Hotel near the Tower of London and got to see how this 4 star London hotel makes it mark for visitors to the capital.

They also had the pleasure of dining at Bryn Williams restaurant at Somerset House, celebrating modern British dining and the very best produce, with fruit and vegetables taking centre stage at this iconic venue.

All in all a fantastic learning experience, inspiring these apprentices for their continued career in hospitality in Scotland.
