Joshua Ryan-Saha is the Director of Traveltech, Tourism and Festivals at Edinburgh Futures Institute where he leads innovation in Scottish travel technology. Here, he established Traveltech for Scotland, securing over £20 million in investment and built a network of 200 technology companies.

Serving on Scotland’s Tourism and Hospitality Industry Leadership Group, Joshua has advised on major AI-driven tourism strategies that are shaping Scotland’s travel and hospitality future, using AI solutions to complement rather than replace human service.

As a HIT Scotland trustee, Joshua aims to help Scottish hospitality businesses navigate technological change responsibly, ensuring technology serves both operational needs and enhances human experience.
